Hailing from the central belt of Scotland the band based themselves in Edinburgh and played extensively in the UK and further afield. To begin with Bo'weevil set out to emulate the authentic blues sounds of Elmore James, BB King and Robert Johnston and were heavily influenced by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. By the time the band came to record their debut album 'Scoundrel Blues' they had very much developed their own sound.
